Few days before the 22nd anniversary of Captive Culture, let’s share another session in SD quality like it has been published for members at this period. I think there is no need to explain again that Rachel Paine went to Paris with Michael Viking : we shot together for several days and you have already watched some of these pics & vids. If you need a reminder, I invite you to check my commentary on photo series 186-04 clicking on the related link available after this blog entry. 2005, March 17 : it was our second day of shooting and we mainly shot for my website. I started with our american guest bound in latex before to capture another memorable power exchange session … 24 hours after her first play with Rachel being bound & gagged, Dana was probably aware that her kinky friend would tease her nicely ! But she didn’t expect that Rachel would dominate her body & mind so strongly. From my point of view, Rachel decided to test and push the limits of Dana after their first time together. After these 4 days together, it was clear for me that I have to follow this way … it confirmed some choices and helped to do more changes during this pivotal period started in the last quarter of year 2004. I would say each of those sessions with Rachel & Dana brought something essential : that’s difficult to explain but it was looking more real, there was a mutual attraction, I wouldn’t say a sexual tension, but it was more sensual and erotic than usual. It made me think a lot about my productions and this experience of several days has been a new start for my work … if I have been able to create and capture some intimate memories later with some others girls, that’s because I understood the things to do and the ones to avoid. life is a long way and there are some changes … I had already lost contact with Rachel & Michael when they decided to close TiedGirls which was one of my favorite websites. Because my friend Alain kept in touch with them for a while, I know they slowly went ouf of the scene and had some others ideas in mind. I can imagine they also encountered the same difficulties than a lot of independant producers : less sales and more fees killed most of those websites who made us dream. We all had our own universe and it really was the golden age of this land of freedom that was internet around Y2K.
It is great to read your recollection Jerome. I remember having active memberships for one of your websites and tiedgirls around the time you produced these sets. I remember how you described (back then) the effect these sets had on you. I clearly remember you being happy about including the sheer bodysuits and the bondage props Rachel and Michael brought from the US.
Rachel looks incredibly hot acting as dom. I remember, from an interview I think, she was complaining about subs frequently approaching her thinking she was a dom. Then finding out she was submissive in her relationship.
It was truly sad when tiedgirls stopped. My recollection is, and please be a aware I’m just an old guy trying to remember what happened twenty or so years ago. Michael and Rachel where staying with Jim W. and Jewell from bondagecafe. They used to produce content together, but they had somewhat independent sites. That lasted for a some time and you can see they shared the studio in many of their photo sets. It was very interesting because in my eyes they had somewhat different visions. But they frequently worked in the same studio sets with the same models. Later Michael and Rachel relocated to New York. Rachel stayed as webmistress for some time in bondagecafe or tiedgirls (cannot remember), but I think they stopped producing new content. I remember Jim W. acquired the rights for the content in tiedgirls. For a while sets branded as tiedgirls were sold in bondagecafe. I can imagine some bureaucratic things stopped bondagecafe from selling tiedgirls’ content. But that is just my speculation. Just the customer point of view. In no way I claim to know personally any of those I mentioned.

As a man who’s feeling old myself, fighting with my health issues all the day, I totally understand your point of view as an old man ! I think your memory is right : I read your summary about this dream team that has been Jim / Jewell & Michael & Rachel … I love the work they did, together or separately. I must say the sessions shot by Michael & Rachel in the flat at New York were more than interesting, there was a real & own style that was inspiring for someone like me. I have been so lucky to welcome them at home when they visited Paris (thanks to my friend Alain who helped to make it real) … Rachel got a crush on Dana and she nicely pushed the french girl to her limits during these kinky days.
